According to a report by 9to5Google, the tech giant is now working on a solution to remove the Discover feed from the New Tab Page on Chrome for Android users.

Google ChromeтАЩs New Tab Page on the desktop is far cleaner than the Android version. Some additional cards appear below the page on the desktop, however, it mainly focuses on the shortcuts and search. Users can also keep an eye out for an upcoming flag if they want more simplicity in their web browser. The report also suggests that the upcoming Feed ablation flag is coming soon to the chrome://flags page and a near-identical one will also be available for the iOS users.

This new flag is likely to тАЬremove all Feeds from Chrome,тАЭ including both the Discover and Following feed. The flag is now available for testing in Chrome Canary and the report claims that it is effective in cleaning up the New Tab Page.
