Realme launched X7 Pro 5G along with its new mid-range X7 5G phone priced at Rs 29,999 and is 5G ready phone.
The phone is launched in two colors. The first being the simple Mystic Black version and the other one, which has almost all the reviewer’s attention is the signature Fantasy finish, which just as same as the Nebula finish.
The issue that was with the X7 5G Nebula finish of Realme’s decision to present its “Dare to Leap” slogan across the entire rear, is going to be an issue for the X7 Pro 5G Fantasy finish version too as not all people would like to live with that.
X7 5G features a 6.55 inches full-HD+ Samsung Super Amoled Display panel with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 Pixels with 120Hz refresh rate & 240Hz Touch Sampling Rate and 20:9 aspect ratio (~403ppi). The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone will come with a plastic back cover.
Inside the phone, you have a MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus (7 nm) with a clock speed of 2.6 GHz. It also features an integrated ARM G77 MC9 GPU. The phone will provide 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. The internal storage provided is 128 GB UFS 2.1 storage (No slot for external cards).
When we talk about, camera features, X7 Pro features a quad camera setup on the rear and a single front camera with only a rear flash. On the back, the phone has a main 64 MP, f/1.8 Sony IMX686 Primary Camera Sensor with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF). Alongside the main camera, the phone has an 8 MP f/2.25 Wide Angle Camera Sensor, a 2 MP f/2.4 Macro Lens (Can be used for Depth Sensing), and a 2 MP f/2.4 Mono Camera (Mono cameras ensures sharper details even when exposed to magnification). On the front is a 32 MP f/2.4.5 In-Display Selfie Camera. Rear Camera: 4k (at 30fps/60fps), 1080P (at 30/60fps), 720P (at 30/60fps), Slo-mo Video: 720P (at 240fps), 1080P (at 120fps), Front Camera: 1080P (at 30fps), 720P (at 30fps.
The battery that is inside the phone is a 4500 mAh battery with 65W SuperDart charging support. The 65W fast charger comes in the box.
The phone also features Dual-5G support, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, Dual VoLTE, and Dual VoWiFi support for both sim cards simultaneously. Also, the phone doesn’t come with a dedicated memory card slot, so people would think twice over this point as they are going to get only 128GB of storage.
The phone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and faces unlock option. The phone has a USB Type-C port but doesn’t have a dedicated headphone jack. To overcome this issue, they will be providing the USB type c to 3.5 mm jack converted to out of the. The phone will come with Android 10 and Realme UI 1.0. The company has promised updates to Android 11 and a “more minimalist” Realme UI 2.0 in the near future.
The phone also comes with WiFi-6 support, Bluetooth version 5.1, Dual Stereo Speakers (Dolby Atmos & Hi-Res), and a Vapor Cooling System (Gamers are going to love this part of the phone).
X7 Pro 5G will be available in two colors – Fantasy and Mystic Black. The phone will be priced at Rs. 29,999. It has a single variant 8GB/128 GB.
Realme will host the first sale of the phone on 10th February 2021 at 12 in the afternoon.
